PENGARUH KEBIJAKAN SYARAT PERJALANAN DENGAN MODA TRANSPORTASI UDARA TERHADAP INDUSTRI PENERBANGAN DAN PARIWISATA INDONESIA TAHUN 2021

Abstract

Indonesia has been dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic period of approximately 23 (twenty three) months. During this period, many industries were affected by the policies made by the government. This article will discuss the analysis of the air travel regulation policies made by the government that affect the domestic and international aviation industry sectors which also affect tourism in Indonesia. Using a qualitative paradigm with an inductive approach, the author describes a phenomenon that occurs. Analyzing from Dunn's theory (2003) regarding policy components that have an effect on marketing, it was found that during 2021 the policy circular on air travel regulations had changed 13 (thirteen) times for domestic air travel and 3 (three) times for international air travel. The impact of repeated policy changes in the near future has caused confusion and losses for the public who use air transportation modes. This has led to a decrease in the use of air transportation modes so that the frequency of flights also decreases, which in turn has an impact on Indonesian tourism, because users of air transportation modes are not only for business reasons but also mostly for tourism reasons. This article reviews policies that affect the marketing of the commercial aviation and tourism industries to stay afloat during the Covid-19 pandemic. Inconsistent government policies and changing too often for one year have an unfavorable impact on the improvement of industries affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
